For Saints Peter and Paul Parishioners*

 Effective:  March 2000

1.  Kindergarten

Children who are 5 years old by September 1st and have completed an assessment and application process are eligible for Kindergarten enrollment.  A non-refundable assessment fee** of $25.00 is due at the time of the assessment. If you decide to register your child at the Academy, a non-refundable** registration fee of $50.00 is due at the time of registration.

The following criteria will be used to determine enrollment (or a waiting  list if the class is filled):

A.  Current Academy Pre-Kindergarten students
B.  Siblings of the Academy families and graduates from the Academy according to Parish registration data.
C.  Children of The Academy and Parish Staff.
D.  Saints Peter and Paul Parishioners enrolling their first child, (priority given according to Parish registration date).

2.  Re-Enrollment (Grades 1-8)

The application process for ALL students currently enrolled at the Academy will begin March 1st and end of March 31st.  If a student has not applied within this time, the student’s spot may be lost.  The non-refundable application fee** of $50.00 is due at this time, also.

3.  Open Enrollment (Grades 1-8)

Open enrollment will begin April 1st and run through April 30th.   At that time, all applications along with the $50.00 non-refundable application fee** are due.  They will be reviewed and screenings will be done.   Decisions will be made by May 15th.  Priority will be given to those  applications received before April 30th.

The following criteria will be followed for admission or for a waiting list in the event the class is filled:

A.  Saints Peter and Paul Parishioners, according to Parish registration date.

Non-Parishioners:  Please see side two of this form.

*    Definition of a Parishioner:  Must fulfill guidelines set down by the Parish
**  If a child is not accepted, the fee will be returned.

The Academy of Saints Peter and Paul’s Admission Policy for Non-Parishioners

 In the event there are still openings in a particular class after Parishioners  have been admitted, the following is the order in which Non-Parishioners will be admitted, after the waiting period for Parishioners (after April 30th).  A non-refundable assessment fee** of $25.00 is due at the time of the assessment. If you decide to register your child at the Academy, a non-refundable** registration fee of $50.00 is due at the time of registration.

Children who are 5 years old by September 1st and have passed The Academy of Saints Peter and Paul’s screening and application process are eligible for Kindergarten enrollment.

A.  Catholic, Non-Parishioner who is a sibling of an already enrolled  student at
      the Academy.
B.  Catholic, Non-Parishioner who is the first child enrolling at the Academy.
C.  Non-Catholic, Non-Parishioner who is a sibling of an enrolled student at the
      Academy.
D.  Non-Catholic, Non-Parishioner who is the first child enrolling at the Academy.

2.  Open Enrollment (Grades 1-8)

A.  Catholic, Non-Parishioner who is a sibling of an already enrolled  student at the
      Academy.
B.  Catholic, Non-Parishioner who is the first child enrolling at the Academy.
C.  Non-Catholic, Non-Parishioner who is a sibling of an enrolled student at the
      Academy.
D.  Non-Catholic, Non-Parishioner who is the first child enrolling at the Academy.
